We are located on the beautiful Lyme Bay coast of Dorset, (England) in an attractive Georgian market town full of rich history dating back through the flight of 'Bonny Prince Charley' the 'Monmouth Rebellion' and Roman occupation. Bridport's links with the past stretch far beyond this though now enjoying world heritage status for it's jurassic coastline attracting fossil hunters from all over the globe.
Appropriately for us, Bridport also sits on the edge of the 'Bride Valley' an area of oustanding natural beauty dotted with rolling hills and chocolate box villages of thatched cottages. The area is also famous for it's local produce, clotted cream and cider and has become even more popular with tourists after the hit T.V. series 'Harbour Lights' was filmed here at West Bay. On occasion you may even bump into local celebrities such as Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of 'River Cottage' fame and Martin Clunes.
